LIVE STATION Contributors |
The Unit 2 Art Collective was started in Cincinnati in 2000 by Steve Zieverink, and is still going strong in Chicago under his leadership. Several contributorsof LIVE STATION are members and work collaboratively often. It is an organization that not only facilitates common principles among artists, designers, theorists, practitioners and other professions, but also provides individual and communal workspace for its members and visiting artists.
"By bringing together divergent disciplines, we focus on connectivity through projects, lectures, workshops and shows and in addition, our emphasis on research, reflection and dialog dissolves old ideologies, thereby creating an open discussion throughout the communities of Chicago and beyond."
In addition to the above contributors, the artist would like to thank Denny and Elena Zieverink, Doris and Tom Uhlman, Sam Brooksbank, Rhamin Eslami, Deborah Stratman, Paul Dickinson, his Alaska helpers - Tony Zieverink, Ben Jones (USGS), and Kelly Harrell (Alaska Marine Conservation Council), as well as all those who participated in "The State of Alaska" interviews.
